Lucasfilm Games reveals another development with Ubisoft’s Massive Entertainment

EA previously held the license to make Star Wars games a reality. Last year it was announced that EA was unhappy with the licensing agreements and there were some questions about whether Disney would keep the current agreement going.

Ubisoft have now revealed via Twitter that they will be producing an open-world, story-driven Star Wars game alongside Lucasfilm Games.

The game is being produced by Massive Entertainment a subsidiary studio for Ubisoft and comes as the second announcement for a Lucasfilm Games development in two days. Yesterday we saw the announcement regarding a new Indiana Jones game being developed by Bethesda.

Things are definitely hotting up since Lucasfilm Games has fallen under the Disney branding and it looks like we have some exciting developments coming.
