KFC chicken-scented nail polish and bath bombs are now not the only PR-stunt the chicken-based master has produced. KFC Gaming has cooped up with Cooler Master to make the (drumstick roll) KFConsole – a games console with a built-in chicken roaster.
The console contains within an inbuilt cooling system that extracts heat to power the world’s first chicken-chamber-featured device.
[The KFConsole is] “ready for consumption during intense gaming sessions.”KFC December 2020
The Finger Lickin’ Good device defintely won’t be kicking the bucket as it features an Intel Nuc 9 Extreme Compute Element as well as Asus-powered graphical power and speeds. It is VR-ready, contains not one, but two Seagate BarraCuda 1TB SSD’s and supports 4K. It definitely seems like something that gamers will flock to.
“When we were approached by KFC Gaming to make the KFConsole, we jumped at the chance to get involved and enter the console war.”Stephen James, Cooler Master
The price for this deep-fried monster is yet to be announced, but it might end up as quite the collectors piece depending on how many are actually produced. Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched though as it may be as rare as hens teeth regardless of the price. Whether or not it is going to ruffle Sony or Microsoft’s feathers is yet to be seen, but I am sure this new gaming alliance will give this attempt in the console war a clucking good try.
