Indie World reveals4 minute read

This months Nintendo Indie World Showcase offered viewers a fantastic mix of new games coming to the platform. Unfortunately for some viewers there was no mention of Silksong but there were still some amazing titles revealed. Read more about these titles below.

Hades

Supergiant Games showcased Hades, with an epic action-packed trailer with a pure artform. Hades is a rogue-like dungeon-crawler which lands on Nintendo Switch Fall 2020.

Hypnospace Outlaw

Hypnospace Outlaw shows the best and worst of the 1990’s, with retro graphics that enhance the story of trawling the internet and fighting viruses. It lands on Nintendo Switch August 27th 2020. Pre-purchase or download a demo later today.

Spiritfarer

Spiritfarer was revealed with an utterly beautiful sequence similar to the art-style of Studio Ghibli. An amazing theme song showed off this new game by Thunderlotus, which lands on Nintendo Switch later today.

Garden Story

Garden Story showed a cute game where societal strength is formed, harnessing the community spirit. Rose City Games brings Garden Story to Nintendo Switch 2021.

Subnautica & Subnautica Below Zero

The critically acclaimed Subnautica and the sequel, Subnautica: Below Zero both arrive on Nintendo Switch early 2021.

Takeshi and Hiroshi

Takeshi and Hiroshi is a game where Takeshi programs games to entertain his little brother. A heartwarming tale that lands later today on Nintendo Switch.

Raji An Ancient Epic

Raji An Ancient Epic, shows the rich culture of India, with traditional music and an epic adventure releases later today as a timed console exclusive.

Card Shark

From the creator of Reigns, comes a game about cheating at cards! Card Shark is a new adventure that’s all about playing your cards right! It’s opening gambit will be on Nintendo Switch in 2021.

Evergate

A fantastic looking game called Evergate was showcased showing an amazingly animated platformer. You too can traverse the afterlife and ignite your soul flame on Nintendo Switch later today – one of the favourites from today’s Indie World reveals.

Other titles included Bear & Breakfast, Torchlight III, Manifold Garden and a two-player physical version of Untitled Goose Game.
