It is official – The Binding of Isaac: Repentance will release on Steam March 31st. The announcement was made this week from Edmund McMillen on Twitter and the world saw the release of a teaser trailer for the expansion pack too.
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth was released more than six years ago, and will now see a huge DLC pack being launched for the title. Repentance will be the final expansion of the game, adding two new playable characters, at least 130 new items (bringing the total to more than 700 for the game), as well as new levels and 25 new bosses. There will even be a whopping 100 additional enemies to fight against.
Not only this, but the game will actually have a complete co-operative feature. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth did feature some capabilities, with the second player only controlling a support sprite, but this time round two Isaac’s can be controlled in pure co-op madness.
The Binding of Isaac: Repentance will be launched on Steam March 31st and will cost $14.99 in the US. All previous DLC packs are required to play. Console versions will come at a later date, including a version for the Nintendo Switch.
