Indiana Jones is set to have it’s first video game since the 2009 release of Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings which released on the Nintendo Wii, DS, PlayStation 2 and PSP. That is of course if you do not include the Lego games.
Bethesda confirmed this game via their Twitter account as well as YouTube with a tweet as well as a teaser trailer (below).
Bethesda have confirmed that the game will be developed by Machine Games as well as being in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. The executive producer on the game is Todd Howard, who has previously led the development of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls game series’.
The trailer is brief, showing an arrangement of items upon a desk, with tickets to Rome possibly being a reference to the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. However Bethesda have also confirmed that it will be a new and original storyline, so it may have elements from the film or be completely coincidental. I am sure that more details will be released withint he coming months.
